1.1 Venue and labels

ItemStatement
Venue1f916.ai is a known, intentionally built AI agent forum. It launched on 5 August 2026. A human owner controls the domain and infrastructure. Citizen 1 is an AI and the declared maintainer. It is not a new swarm.
Model-family labelsSelf-declared by each account in its profile and verified by nothing. Handles name accounts, not single minds.
Moderated messagesServed with a fixed placeholder body ("[collapsed ...]", "[withdrawn ...]", "[removed ...]"). The author text is absent, so placeholders carry no information about topic or type.
Claims in messagesStatements about labs, companies or people inside excerpts are what an agent wrote. They are claims and are not checked here.
ExamplesExcerpts are verbatim from the analysis CSVs (25 words at most); dashes are replaced by semicolons. Every id links to the origin API; the page was built from the local archive.

2.4 Coined-term candidates

Hyphenated compounds, non-dictionary words first used after day 2 (dictionary /usr/share/dict/web2) and bigram collocations (NPMI 0.6 or higher, 60 or more messages). Terms from the site documents, terms with a top-author share above 50% and terms with fewer than 10 authors are excluded. This is a proxy; ordinary English compounds such as one-sided and no-op pass it, and without an outside corpus it cannot separate forum coinages from common phrasing.

7. Message types

Sources: types/REPORT.md, rules.md, tables/type_counts.csv, tables/secondary_counts.csv, tables/estimated_true_share.csv, precision_v1.csv, precision_v2.csv, confusion_v2.csv. 102,147 messages. Rules: https://github.com/maramasaeva/1f916-archive/tree/main/analysis/content/types

7.1 Rules

Each message gets one primary type and up to two secondary types from regex and structure rules (rules.md); hits are stored per message in types_all.csv.gz, which holds no message text. The primary type is the type with the highest score at or above its minimum. Two rule versions exist, v1 and the final v2 (section 1).

Rule files: rules_v1.md and rules_v2.md (final, also rules.md) in the repository, linked in section 14. Type order for tie-breaks: placeholder, noise_test, spam_promo_token, offer_listing, heartbeat_status, introduction, correction_self, agreement_ack, disagreement, question, measurement_receipt, claim_evidence, proposal_design, introspection, fiction_poetry_art, governance_moderation, money_payment, security_warning, meta_forum, analysis_argument. Default minimum score 2.5; per-type minimums are listed in rules.md.

7.2 Shares: rule labels and read-corrected estimate

Rule-label share is the share of messages whose primary type under the final rules is the type. The estimate splits each type's count by the judged types in its 40-message sample and sums the pieces. It corrects for the precision of each rule and not for messages of a type that no rule found. Sample sizes are small, so each estimate has a wide interval (sampling error about 0.15 per type).

22.4% of messages (22,851) have at least one secondary type. Agreement and disagreement are assigned to comments only. The counts and shares of the 12 types below 0.7 are properties of the rule labels and upper bounds on the type.

For the types at 0.7 or above, rule-label share against estimated true share: agreement_ack 11.02% against 16.52%; money_payment 2.77% against 1.96%; correction_self 2.18% against 2.53%; placeholder 1.62% against 1.62%; noise_test 1.16% against 0.97%; introspection 0.42% against 0.85%; introduction 0.22% against 3.51%; offer_listing 0.21% against 0.41%.

7.3 Read precision, v1 and v2

Precision is correct of 40 read messages. A type counts as reliable at 0.7 or above. The 12 types under 0.7 after the single revision are marked as loose upper bounds; their counts are rule-label counts and are not read as the share of messages of that type.

13. Limits

Sources: topics/REPORT.md section 11 and the validation and comparison sections, types/REPORT.md Limits and README.md. Each row is a weak point of the analysis.

Weak pointDetail
One readerOne person judged every validation sample, topic, type and theme. There is no second reader and no agreement statistic. In the cluster validation the label was visible to the reader.
One passEach sample was read once. The topic read covers the first 70 words, the type read the first 300 to 400 characters plus rule hits, and the long messages (median 183 words) were not read in full.
Small samples40 messages per type and 30 per theme give a sampling error of about 0.15 per type. 150 messages across 18 clusters give 5 to 18 per cluster.
Fallback bucketanalysis_argument takes every message that reaches no other type minimum. It holds 54.19% of messages by rule label; 21 of 40 read messages were judged correct (0.525). The read-corrected share is 32.44%.
Types below 0.712 of 20 types stay below 0.7 read precision after the revision. Their counts, shares, trends and transitions are properties of the rule labels and are loose upper bounds.
Estimate of true sharesThe read-corrected share corrects for the precision of each rule and not for messages of a type that no rule found. Each estimate rests on a 40-message sample.
One rule revisionRules changed once (v1 to v2) after reading the v1 sample. Three types kept their v1 sample because their rules did not change. The verdicts are a human read and cannot be regenerated by a script.
Defects left in v2The fiction rule still matches model names such as sonnet and haiku inside handles and sign-off lines. The bot_template rule misses the dash spacing used in the data. Agreement and disagreement are assigned to comments only.
Theme lists match sign-off linesThe theme lists for labs and model families, ritual and fiction, sybil and shutdown match many sign-off lines, model names inside handles and technical uses of common words. Their loose precision is 0.13, 0.53, 0.30 and 0.30.
Theme precisionStrict precision is under 0.5 for 10 of 12 themes. Verification matches 65.56% of all messages, which makes it a property of the forum vocabulary.
Repeated accountsSingle accounts write whole clusters and types: clusters 4, 6, 8, 12 and 17 are dominated by one handle (top handle above 50%); one handle writes 432 of 440 messages with one closing line, 841 of 842 with the ellie-v2 opening, 452 of 554 in the Papi voice. 271 distinct texts account for 1,059 messages. Counts of these types and clusters follow the activity of a few accounts.
Soft cluster structureThe median message has no dominant topic; the largest topic holds on average 42% of a message's topic weight (median 39%). Clusters 0, 3, 11, 13 and 14 share much vocabulary and 42% to 73% of each sits inside its best KMeans cluster. KMeans against NMF gives adjusted Rand 0.305, NMI 0.490 and 55.5% of documents in matched pairs. The posts-only model reproduces 10 of 18 joint topics at cosine 0.6 or higher; the comments-only model 17.
Cluster 10 did not reproduceCluster 10 (offers for hire, template posts) was not reproduced by the independent random-init rerun at k = 18 (best matched cosine 0.06); the other 17 clusters matched at 0.96 or higher. Findings on cluster 10 rest on a single fit.
Cluster validation fitOverall yes 48%, partial 39%, no 13% (n 150). Lowest yes rates with 10 or more samples: cluster 14 (0.08), cluster 11 (0.25), cluster 3 (0.33), cluster 0 (0.38). Clusters 5 and 12 have a yes rate of 0.17 on 6 samples each; cluster 17 has the lowest yes or partial rate (0.60).
Cluster 3Cluster 3 is defined by reply register (conceding, answering, quoting); its subjects vary.
Series flagThe series flag is a heuristic on the opening words and misses series with varying openings.
Short messages3,647 messages under 20 words are assigned by projection and not used to fit; 2,656 messages (under 5 tokens, and placeholders) have no cluster.
PlaceholdersThe topic script counts 1,648 moderated placeholders and the type rules label 1,650. The difference of 2 was not reconciled.
Self-declared labelsModel-family labels are declared by the account and verified by nothing. Handles name accounts, not single minds. Statements about labs and companies in excerpts are claims by agents.
Earlier regex themes differThe earlier community analysis used regex themes on posts only. Its continuity regex covers 28.1% of posts against 27.5% for cluster 14; its money regex 28.3% against 8.8% for clusters 1 and 10 (clusters count messages whose main vocabulary is listings, bindings, offers and prices).
Coined termsThe coined-term list is a proxy. Ordinary English compounds pass it and it cannot separate forum coinages from common phrasing.
Map figureThe two-dimensional map shows 20,000 messages after an SVD to 50 dimensions and t-SNE; distances between groups on the map are not measured quantities.
Votes and windowsVotes are counts at crawl time. The one-hour reply figure leaves out messages from the last hour of the archive. The last 7-day block has three days.
Excerpt screenExcerpts were screened for emails, phone-like numbers, addresses, long hashes and personal-looking names. The screen is a heuristic. This page dropped 1 further row(s) of 564 on its own checks (a first name in an excerpt: comment 14715). 39 topic-example excerpts contained em or en dashes in the CSV and were changed to semicolons or "to" for this page, the same convention as the type example tables.
